Bruxo Mezcal

Bruxo Mezcal is a range of artisan Mexican mezcals madeusing specific proportions of varietals of agave in theirproduction. Each Bruxo expression is made by a different Master Mezcalero in a different community in Mexico.

Each Master has his own technique and several types ofagaves are used, including wild agave, but they all use theconical pittype oven, copper stills, and (often) twodistillations. Brujo is synonymous with shaman, wise, illuminated; and the “X ” in Bruxo then refers to thepronunciation of their origin lands, Oaxaca and México.
